The mobile sphere is fast-paced with exciting things coming up around the corner.  At Consumer Mobile Technology (Omnego), we've already looked around the corner and now we need someone to lead sales and business development activities to the Digital Marketing Industry.  Omnego was founded by a well-respected group of individuals with a proven track record of success in technology.  The product is unique in the marketplace and has no imitators.  In fact, it's patent-pending.

Position: Director of Business Development - Various Industries

Location: Toronto

This position suits a person who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind-set and a desire to shape his/her future within the team. The person should have understanding, networking and capabilities in the field of advertising sales, and new social media marketing activities.   This is the opportunity to shape the future of the company in the market and grow the team over the next 12 months.

The candidate will display excellent communication and networking skills and the ability to interact with senior level clients (CMO, CEO, Marketing Director, CIO) while working internally on pre-sales and after-sales activities.
The candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering/exceeding sales targets, closing large scale deals, and leading commercial negotiations direct with brands or through agencies for digital channels and advertising network.
Account management and project management support capabilities would be considered a plus in the candidate track records, supporting projects during delivery and execution after sales.

Key Requirements:

·  Ability to create a pipeline of business, build strategic partnerships, and execute against business development plan
·  Ability to open opportunities, conduct commercial negotiations and close deals
·  Ability to manage strategic client relationships
·  Proven track record of selling at all levels of the client
·   Ability to build and manage an effective sales team
·   Strong Communication/ Networking Skills
·  Existing networks and track record of sales with major agencies and brands
·  Proven experience of mobile and digital marketing or advertising is a bonus, but not critical.  
·  5-8 years experience in sales (flexible depending on quality of experience)
·  Comfortable with fast-moving, entrepreneurial organization
·  Flexible, Motivated, self-starter
·  Bachelor's degree level or equivalent
·  Mobile advertising understanding, especially on new key trends of interactions such as social media marketing, etc.
·  Innovation skills in shaping and presenting the company's capabilities to customers
·  Capabilities and connections with large media agencies and/or online marketing technology companies.
